Beaches - Cancun has some of the most attractive beaches anywhere in Mexico. Under Mexican Law, you have the right to walk on every beach in the country, with exception of those reserved for military installations, so feel free to walk through any hotel lobby (whether or not you're resident there - Even the Hilton Cancun Beach!) if there is a beach you want to visit! Although Mexican nationals tend to stay off the hotel beaches - as a matter of courtesey?

Most of the Cancun beach sand is a fine white or off white coral based particles.

As the resort is almost man made the sand is treated as part of each hotels' own property and cleaned on an almost daily cycle. The 'Public Beaches' are a little less clean.
