Cancun - "Jungle Safari" - Speedboat Excursion Trip

Cancun's 'Jungle Safari' Tour on the water is one of the best fun things to do in Cancun - Take a self drive speedboat ride through Cancun's mangrove shrouded swampy estuaries in a small speedboat, leading out onto Mexico's Caribbean sea and nearby reefs. You rent your own boat and you can see the sights at your own pace if you choose the payment is by the hour option. You can stop your boat and dive into the shallow waters and snorkel around the reefs and see the local marine life there. The speedboat operators provide buoyancy aids (compulsory), basic snorkeling equipment and liquid refreshments for you to take with you, all included in the price. It's a great way to see this unusual part of the world!

Or you can do what we did and join an organised "follow my leader" trip which was great fun for those with a - "need for speed!" - a bit scary for those who didn't like the idea of riding the crest of the bow wave of the boat in front! Once out on the reef we were shown the best spots to see the aquatic inhabitants.

Only wear eco friendly sun screen cream - to protect the fragile reef environment . Take sun glasses and underwater camera to record one of the fun things to do in Cancun!
